These are our circuses!
Students worked in groups of 3 to 5 people, with each student responsible for creating ONE character and/or ONE prop. Each group then planned out their acts for their circuses, and were required to include two Simple Machines in their perfomance.
These circuses are basd on American Artist Alexander Calder's "Cirque De Calder" from the 1930s, in which he designed and performed numerour acts and characters made from bits and pieces of trash.
